Bufo Alvarius is a toad that lives in northern Mexico and carries a secret on its back.
The Bufo is a mysterious amphibian, there is much debate about the antiquity of the use of its psychoactive among humans, some claim that its use is ancient and others argue that it was found by accident by a psychonaut from the northern country two three decades ago. Whatever the origin of his communion with us, the truth is that the liquid that the toad of down expels is one of the strongest hallucinogens found in nature.
The extraction of this liquid is done by gently squeezing the back of the toad which expels its treasure that is later converted into powder that is smoked in the heat of a pipe.
A single puff of this white powder is enough to communicate directly with the whole, to experience the grace of feeling part of the whole while your ego melts before its presence.
"The collective unconscious, like other transpersonal phenomena, is evidence that our mind is not an isolated entity, but is constantly in contact with other minds, as well as with the world around us." James Oroc
Although its chemical name is 5-MeO-DMT, it is far from DMT or what we know as changa in these places.
A mystery waiting to be inhaled.
Since then there are many Shamans who seek to bring this knowledge to psychonauts who are unaware of the power of this chemical force of nature. Connecting with the toad can be one of the most sacred experiences that a person can have, some even claim to have lost their fear of biological death because they affirm that now they have the peace of mind of knowing that it exists on the other side. Dying is then the affirmation that although the ego is extinguished, the essence of one self remains eternally dissolved in the whole.
We invite you, the explorer, the restless, the owner of himself to experience what the back of the sacred toad has to show you.
